Admission to the Medical Assisting program is competitive and is only offered full-time, during the day at our Lawrenceville campus.
The Gwinnett Technical College diploma level Medical Assisting Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (caahep.org) upon the recommendation of the Medical Assisting Education Review Board (MAERB). Graduates of the Gwinnett Tech Medical Assisting program are eligible to sit for national certification for medical assisting. Gwinnett Technical College medical assisting program has a 100% exam pass rate for the 2017 graduates.
