P.O.S.T. Testing

The P.O.S.T test is for those individuals seeking employment in the field of law enforcement or corrections.  We offer P.O.S.T. testing at both the Lawrenceville and Alpharetta-North Fulton campuses.  You do not need an appointment – come in during the Open Lab Hours.  Bring a government issued ID (i.e. Driver’s License, Passport or Military ID).

Testing Fee:
The fee is $20 and will be paid in the Assessment Center on the day of testing. Payment can be in the form of a check, cash, or credit/debit card – whatever works best for you.

Test:
Candidates will take the Reading Comprehension, Sentence Skills and the Arithmetic sections of the ACCUPLACER test. Study guides can be found at: https://accuplacer.collegeboard.org/sites/default/files/accuplacer-sample-questions-for-students.pdf

Length:
Tests are not timed but allow at least 2.5 hours to complete the exam.

Materials:
Current picture ID will be required for test admittance. Hand-held calculators are not permitted.
