Ke'Shawna Gallien, Nurse GTC

The respiratory program and education I received helped prepare me for my current clinical rotation. During my training, I was able to do a lot and see a lot, which gave me the skills needed to perform my job. "My experience and education in the respiratory care program prepared me for working with patients needing critical care. I am thankful to be a part of a team that is willing to help me by sharing their knowledge and expertise." I chose the healthcare field because I felt it matched my personality. I am very compassionate, and I love helping others. I also have family members that have chronic respiratory illnesses, so I wanted to be educated on the etiology of respiratory diseases and learn how to help not only my family members but others. Ke’Shawna is currently at Emory St. Joseph’s and a 2020 graduate from Gwinnett Technical College's Respiratory Care program.
