Gwinnett Tech Students Earn Four Medals at National SkillsUSA Competition

GWINNETT – NORTH FULTON - Gwinnett Tech students had an notable showing at the National SkillsUSA, Post Secondary State Leadership and Skills Conference hosted June 25-29, 2018 in Louisville, Kentucky. Of the 15 Gwinnett Tech students who competed, four students placed, one earning gold in Medical Math!

Joanna Key, Gwinnett Tech's SkillsUSA Lead Advisor says, "Our students' results at this competition continue to prove that their educational foundation is exceptional and that they can apply their learning in real-world situations."

David Welden, acting president of Gwinnett Technical College shares, "These results reflect the outstanding level of academic commitment and leadership our students have. We are proud of our students' achievements and look forward to seeing them continue to advance in their fields of study."

  • Dieu Ngo – First-Aid CPR
