Video games have become part of our everyday lives. Statista, states revenue of the video game industry from 2014 - 2016 was $500 million to $1 billion a month. Game Development is predicted to have an annual growth rate of 6 percent according to the United States Department of Labor. Learn with the latest technology on today's hottest video games with Gwinnett Tech's Game Development degree, diploma, or certificate. Using industry-driven programming tools, you’ll immerse yourself in the fundamentals of game development from developing a concept through engaging design and development. Students will gain insight into what it is like to bring a game into production in the industry.

This program is offered at Gwinnett Tech's Alpharetta-North Fulton and our Lawrenceville campuses.

Gwinnett Tech’s Game Development program currently offers two HOPE Career Grants. HOPE Career Grants provide free tuition assistance toward educational costs for eligible students enrolled in an approved designated program of study. Students must be eligible for, and receiving, the HOPE Grant or Zell Miller Grant to be awarded the HOPE Career Grant. It provides assistance with educational costs that are not covered by the HOPE or Zell Miller Grants.
