Students may stop by with a printed résumé and job posting of the type of position they are pursuing. Bring the résumé on a flash drive or be able to access it electronically and a member of Career Services will review it and provide guidance on how to tailor it toward the position and industry. Prerequisite: Participants must have a résumé that simply needs reviewing.

Step up Your Interview Game (*Lunch & Learn)

During this session, students will learn how to navigate the often anxiety-inducing interview process. You will gain tools and techniques to help you best prepare for job interviews. More specifically, you will walk away with an understanding of the different types of interviews, questions to expect, how to articulate work experience, and what to do after the interview.

Network Y-our Way to a Job (*Lunch & Learn)

Many job seekers feel awkward initiating conversations and mixing and mingling; yet it's crucial for job search success. Make sure you know what to do. This workshop will teach you networking strategies and conversation skills that make networking a breeze. You will be guided through exercises in breaking into groups and introducing yourself, asking people questions, choosing topics to talk about and talking about yourself.
*Career Services will provide lunch for Lunch & Learn sessions.
