Bioscience Technology program prepares students to perform in a number of biotechnology-related careers, including laboratory research, pharmaceuticals and bio-manufacturing. With sophisticated laboratory training, students will gain experience in techniques such as DNA manipulation and analysis, protein analysis and tissue culture.

According to Select Georgia, Atlanta ranks 5th for bio-related occupational employment and has 570 bioscience facilities employing nearly 24,000 people. In addition to working in the industry, many Bioscience program graduates transfer to four-year colleges to pursue a Bachelor in Science degree. Graduates from Gwinnett Tech learn advanced laboratory skills which provide an extensive advantage over their colleagues.

This program is offered at Gwinnett Tech’s Lawrenceville Campus.

Graduates can transfer credits and further their education.

Graduates have been able to transfer 85-100% of their credits to Georgia colleges such as the University of Georgia, Georgia State University, Kennesaw State University and Georgia Gwinnett College.

Be eligible for a full scholarship!

S-STEM Scholarships that pay for tuition, fees and books are available for Transfer Students intending to pursue their Bachelor of Science in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or Environmental Science at Kennesaw State University.
