With a ten-year growth rate of nearly 26%, accounting jobs are expected to grow twice as quickly in Georgia than they are nationwide, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Accountants and auditors in Georgia earn 42% more than the average annual salary for all positions in the state, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. With relevant work experience, combined with an Accounting degree from Gwinnett Tech, graduates will pave the way for positions in management and leadership, such as payroll accounting specialist, tax preparation specialist or accounting assistant.
