Career Track Overview

Do you feel more comfortable with a camera than a calculator? Did you doodle your way through biology class? If creating art is your passion, you may not have thought of yourself as the perfect candidate for technical education. It's time to think again. At Gwinnett Tech, students with a flair for art and design are discovering that a technical education is just what they need to turn their artistic talents into fulfilling careers.

There was a time when "creative types" and "technology" didn't mix, but in today's rapidly changing world, virtually every industry depends upon technology - including the arts. Gwinnett Tech offers many opportunities for arts and design students to make a living doing what they love. There are degree programs in photography, fashion merchandising and interiors as well as diploma or certificate programs in interior design, floral design and painted and faux finishes. No matter which program you choose, you'll receive the technical foundation you need to put your artistic passions to work.
