Did you know?
1. When you graduate, you'll get a job.
Gwinnett Tech's job placement rate is 96%. Our programs are focused on workforce development with most offering internships or clinical opportunities that may result in a permanent position. Our Career Services Center helps thousands of students each year land that first job!
2. And your job will pay well.
Salaries of technical college graduates are up 30% over five years ago…and still going strong. The average salary of a technical college graduate is now $37,000. In fact, many jobs held by those with two-year associates degrees pay more than jobs that require a four-year degree.
3. We're affordable…for everyone
The average tuition for a fulltime student is just $475 a semester. That means you can attend college for a full year for about $2,000.
If you need financial aid, we offer many options. About 47% of our students receive some type of aid. Gwinnett Tech offers the Hope Grant, available regardless of financial need. To be eligible, you'll need to be accepted into a diploma or certificate program and maintain a 2.0 GPA, but you don't need to be a fulltime student.
4. You'll get your education fast
Many Gwinnett Tech students earn an associate of applied science (AAS), a two-year degree. We also offer hundreds of certificate and diploma program options that can provide you the education and training you need for your chosen career in just a few semesters.
And, if your course work at Gwinnett Tech, is just the beginning for you – no worries. Gwinnett Tech courses can transfer to a University System of Georgia institution ( Georgia State and the University of Georgia, for example) or another technical college. Many freshman-level core courses are guaranteed to transfer to four-year colleges and universities throughout the state.
