GED® Preparation Classes
Thank you for choosing the Adult Education Department at Gwinnett Technical College to pursue your high school equivalency certification. You are registering for an Orientation and Testing Session. This assessment will help us place you in the right classes. Orientation, assessments and classes are free.
18-Year-Old and Over Registration Requirements
Students are to bring all documents with them to the orientation.
- Completed Verification of Eligibility document.

- A valid, unexpired US government issued identification.
16 and 17 Year-Old Registration Requirements

Students with Disabilities
Students who have a medical and/or psychological disability, have documentation of such disability and require special accommodations or services, must come to the Adult Education office (Building 100, Room 919) to receive a referral to Gwinnett Technical College Disability Services Office.
We have two (2) terms:Term I: July – December
- Session A: July
- Session B: August - September
- Session C: October - December
- Session A: January - March
- Session B: April – May
