Accelerated Opportunity

What is Accelerating Opportunity?

Accelerating Opportunity (AO) allows people to work on their GEDs while taking college credit classes at Gwinnett Tech!

The Accelerating Opportunity (AO) initiative at Gwinnett Technical College combines accelerated career training with personalized educational support. By offering students the chance to work on their GEDs while taking college credit classes, AO Gwinnett is rethinking traditional adult education by removing barriers that prevent adults from entering and completing their education. Our program is committed to helping adults get the training and skills they need so that at the end of each program, students will exit with a GED® credential, if applicable, and at least one certification that can lead to a family-sustaining wage career!
