Early Childhood Care and Education
Gwinnett Tech's Early Childhood Care and Education program provides a unique combination of theory and practical application sure to make graduates a welcomed addition to any early childhood environment.
Students gain Early Childhood Care and Education experience with:
75 hours of practicum at D. Scott Hudgens, Jr. Early Education Center located on the College’s Lawrenceville campus
425 hours of internship in Gwinnett County Public Schools, and
three specializations offered for the Degree Program: Paraprofessional; Management; and Exceptionalities.
The Gwinnett Technical College Early Childhood Care and Education program is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
This program is offered at Gwinnett Tech's Alpharetta-North Fulton and Lawrenceville campuses.
