In just over a month, Gwinnett Technical College will welcome students to classes for the first time at its new Alpharetta-North Fulton Campus. Prospective students have one more opportunity to wrap up their applications and submit enrollment documentation with Wrap it Up Days on Tuesday, Dec. 1, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 2, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., and again on Friday, Dec. 18, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. These sessions will be held at the new campus located just off GA 400 at 2875 Old Milton Parkway in Alpharetta.
The Wrap it Up Days have been designed to create a one-stop solution for new students, allowing individuals to complete an application, submit any outstanding acceptance documentation for on-site/immediate acceptance, assess their financial aid opportunities, receive advisement assistance and register for classes before they begin on Jan. 6. For more information, call 770-962-7580. Drop-ins are welcome.
The new campus will house many of the College’s most popular programs, including accounting, medical billing, hospitality management and entrepreneurship. Computer Information Systems classes will also be offered at the campus, including courses in JAVA, C++, HTML5, Cybersecurity and CISCO systems.
To get a head start on the process, prospective students are strongly encouraged to review requirements and complete their applications online prior to attending a Wrap it Up session (www.gwinnetttech.edu/campus/north-fulton-campus/anf-enrollment-checklist/).
