Now in its seventh year, the camp is hosted by the Sugarloaf Chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) to introduce young women to the opportunities available in the construction industry.
Cisco has awarded GTC a $100,000 grant to fund the college's Accelerated Learning Program, which provides academic support to students entering college to improve their academic progress and further their success at the college level.
The ARC has provided funding for GAP since the program's inception in 2007 through the Services to Youth as an Emerging Workforce grant.
Gwinnett Tech's Diagnostic Medical Sonography program now offers OB ultrasounds at no charge. The service is offered on campus on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Hundreds of Gwinnett Tech graduates celebrated commencement this month, and the college is on pace to confer over 2,500 graduation awards for the academic year.
