Gwinnett Technical College is one of the nation’s fastest growing public two-year colleges, ranking 45th on Community College Week’s (CCW) 2015 list of Fastest Growing Community Colleges. The rankings looked at the enrollment of credit students between 2013 and 2014, stating that Gwinnett Tech had increased its student body by .7 percent. Gwinnett Tech is the only Georgia college to be ranked in the top 50 fastest-growing community colleges in the nation with enrollments of 5,000-9,999.

Gwinnett Technical College has continued to offer programs aligned with the needs of employers and employment opportunities in the regional economy. Last year Gwinnett Tech opened its re-designed and expanded One Stop Student Services Center to provide enhanced advisement and service to students. Additionally, the college opened its second campus on Jan. 6, 2016 on Old Milton Parkway in Alpharetta.
