Gwinnett Technical College has announced the Dean’s List scholars for Spring and Summer 2015, and honored the group at a campus reception with faculty and college leaders on Tues., Oct. 14. More than 500 students were recognized for this honor.
"Our students are challenged to balance school commitments, work responsibilities and home life,” said Dean of Health Sciences Steve Moyers, one of the coordinators of the reception. “These students have shown that they have mastered that balance and have worked very hard to earn this academic success."
Gwinnett Technical College is a member of the Achieving the Dream National Reform Network, which now counts more than 200 institutions working to significantly improve student success, and also participates in the Complete College Georgia initiative.
Full-time students completing 12 semester hours with at least a 3.69 grade point average are included on the Dean’s List. The Oct. 14 reception recognized students who earned that grade point average or higher during the Spring 2015 semester or Summer 2015.
