Gwinnett Tech and Georgia Tech Partner to Sponsor Educational Series for Area Manufacturers
‘Integrating Safety Management and Process Improvement,’ March 18, 11:30 a.m.

Gwinnett Tech and Georgia Tech are partnering to present “Integrating Safety Management and Process Improvement,” a luncheon event in the Manufacturing Growth Education Series.
The event will be held March 18 from 11:30 a.m. -1:30 p.m. at The Busbee Center on the campus of Gwinnett Tech. The cost is $15 and includes lunch, networking, presentation, case study and Q&A. Manufacturing Supply Chain Council Members receive a $5 discount.
Damon Nix, Project Manager at the Georgia Manufacturing Extension Partnership and Instructor at Georgia Tech’s OSHA Training Institute, will be the speaker.
By attending this meeting, you will:
Identify processes with high potential for cross-departmental collaboration
Learn how safety and operational wastes correlate and how to eliminate them simultaneously
Discover how to use “lean” principles to access the highest levels of hazard control
Reduce inter-organizational conflict and undesirable tradeoffs
The lunch and learn educational series takes place quarterly at Gwinnett Tech’s Busbee Center and delivers actionable tips and tools of the trade specifically designed to help Georgia Manufacturers grow their business. Any process improvement and safety management professionals interested in creating a safer, more productive work environment are invited to attend.
