2017 Science WORKS!

Science WORKS! engages curious people of all ages in celebration of our local science community, and the ways science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM) help us to better understand and improve our world. The 4th annual Science WORKS! will be hosted at Gwinnett Technical College, Lawrenceville on March 30, 2017, 4 – 8 p.m.

  • An interactive event which features Gwinnett Tech’s programs, Science WORKS! is for families with children in 8th to 12th grades. This robust event explores rewarding STEAM careers that can be achieved when students choose Gwinnett Tech as their first choice in higher education.  Potential students have the opportunity to explore “science behind the scenes” through tours and activities. Guests learn how science can be a launching pad for more than 30 in-demand careers.

  • Estimated attendance: 800 guests (faculty, staff, students, parents and high school career counselors).

  • Registration will begin on or about February 1, 2017.  Information and links will be posted on the Gwinnett Tech website.
