Gwinnett Tech Photography Program Hosts Open House for Prospective Students

Gwinnett Technical College’s Photography program will host an open house for new and prospective students on Thursday, April 28, from 5 - 8 p.m., providing aspiring photographers with information and insight on how to turn an eye for images into a rewarding career.
Photography Program Open House:
• Thursday, April 28
• 5 – 8 p.m.
• Building 100, Room 204, on the Lawrenceville campus
• Information Session: 7 p.m.
• Meet the faculty, tour the campus studio, lab and gallery; and talk with current students
• No registration necessary
Photography Program Director Judith Pishnery will conduct the information sessions, with additional faculty members and staff present to answer questions and conduct tours. Current photography students will also be on-hand to meet with those attending.
A selection of current student and alumni work will be on display and there will be demonstrations in studio lighting for portraiture and on digital printing.
Gwinnett Tech offers an associate degree and diploma in photography. The college is now enrolling for Fall Semester 2016. The application deadline is June 30. Fall classes start Aug. 15. Late application deadline is July 28 (late fees apply).
