Become Work Ready!

By earning Georgia's new Work Ready Certificate through Gwinnett Tech, you'll stand out from the crowd and be on your way to landing a great job.

The Work Ready program is easy to access and free to job seekers. The program enables workers to take a free skills assessment and earn a Work Ready certificate indicating their skill and knowledge levels to potential employers. The certificate guarantees that job seekers have the portable skills to serve as a solid foundation for more customized training. Skills assessed are Applied Mathematics, Locating Information, Reading for Information and Work Habits (Talent Assessment).

Register online by completing the form below. Because we experience a high no show rate, we overbook appointments. We will admit examinees REGISTERED HERE on a first come basis. Therefore, examinees should plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before the appointed time for testing.

Work Ready assessments are offered at Gwinnett Technical College, 5150 Sugarloaf Parkway, Lawrenceville, GA 30043.

If you wish to prepare for the assessments, free online Skills Gap Training (WIN) is available. Email workready@gwinnetttech.edu for website address and PIN to access the training.

A picture ID is required to test. No one will be admitted more than 15 minutes after the assessments are scheduled to begin.
