Study and Travel Abroad Program
Gwinnett Technical College offers a Study and Travel Abroad Program designed to enrich the educational experience.
Plans are being made for Gwinnett Tech students to travel during Spring Break 2014 to southern Italy. No college course credit will be available for this trip; however, students will enjoy the opportunity to travel to another country and learn from the experience. The deadline to apply for the Study and Travel Abroad Program will be October 1, 2013 and applicants will be notified if they are accepted by October 15, 2013. Dates and times for information sessions will be e-mailed to all GTC students during the beginning of fall semester.
Gwinnett Tech's program is planned and facilitated by CEPA-Europe (Customized Educational Programs Abroad), a German-based company which was founded in 1997. CEPA Europe specializes in university level academic study abroad programs and works with over ninety partner colleges and universities throughout the USA and Canada to create customized, academically focused short-term, faculty-led programs throughout Europe, as well as internationally focused internship programs in Germany.
Visits to multinational companies and organizations, guest lectures, as well as carefully selected cultural visits and excursions make the study abroad programs an extremely valuable and unforgettable experience for students and faculty members alike.Click here to view photos from the GTC trip to Italy.
