Plant Sale a Tradition at Gwinnett Tech
One of spring's most time-honored local traditions has arrived – Gwinnett Tech's Spring Plant Sale is just around the corner. The community event is hosted by the Environmental Horticulture program.
Held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., April 15-17, at the campus greenhouse near Building 600, the annual sale offers a wide variety of flowers, shrubs, house plants and herbs. All plants are sold with pride by students who grew them.
This year's selection includes:
- Wax Begonia
- Black Pearl Ornamental Pepper
- Sweet Potato Vine
- Blackberry Lily
- Japanese Painted Fern
- Phlox "Emerald Blue"
- Echinacea "Hot Papaya"
- Chocolate Mint
- French Tarragon
- Shell Ginger
- Ginger Lily
- Spider Plant
- And many more…
Cash and check are preferred.
The GTC greenhouse is located next to Building 600 on the Gwinnett Tech campus, 5150 Sugarloaf Parkway, Lawrenceville, 30043.
