Gwinnett Tech and Georgia Tech Partner to Sponsor Educational Series for Area Manufacturers
What's New with OSHA for Georgia Manufacturers, Dec. 5, 11:30 am
Gwinnett Tech and Georgia Tech are partnering to present "What's New with OSHA?" a luncheon event in the Manufacturing Growth Education Series.
The event will be held Dec. 5 from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm at The Busbee Center on the campus of Gwinnett Tech. The cost is $15 and includes lunch, networking, presentation, and a case study. Manufacturing Supply Chain Council Members receive a $5 discount.
Daniel J. Ortiz, director of the Georgia Tech Occupational Safety and Health Program, is the speaker, presenting information on how new special emphasis programs can positively impact Georgia manufacturers.
Topics to be discussed include:
- Recent changes in OSHA's national, regional and Georgia special emphasis programs
- Cost savings opportunities from compliance with OSHA regulations
- Advise on implementing an effective Safety Management System
The lunch and learn educational series takes place quarterly at Gwinnett Tech's Busbee Center and delivers actionable tips and tools of the trade specifically designed to help Georgia's manufacturers.
The Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce's Partnership Gwinnett is also sponsoring the event.
