Tires Plus Supports Gwinnett Tech Automotive Program
Donation Will Underwrite Tools Purchase

Tires Plus Total Car Care has donated $4,000 to Gwinnett Technical College for the purchase of tools for the college's Automotive Technology program.
Mike Millares, recruiting development and retention manager, and Chris Tavares, Atlanta district manager, both for Tires Plus, were on campus last week to meet with automotive students about career opportunities and to present the donation to administrators.
"Our strong partnerships with progressive businesses like Tires Plus enables us to provide our students the latest, most-advanced 'tools of the trade' as well as exposure to real-world workplace environments and career paths," explains Mary Beth Byerly, executive director for institutional advancement, Gwinnett Tech. "We're very appreciative of their support."
Gwinnett Tech offers associate degree and diploma programs in Automotive Technology and Automotive Fundamentals, plus a range of certificate options in automotive engine performance, automotive suspension and steering, basic automotive service and heavy diesel service.
Tires Plus Total Car Care has more than 5,000 employees in 500 stores across 23 states, including more than 10 locations in Gwinnett County.
