GED® Testing Center
At Gwinnett Technical College, GED® testing is conducted at the Official GED Testing Center™. The GED® test is made up of four (4) sections & is offered in both English and Spanish:
- Reasoning through Language Arts (2 hours, 30 minutes with a 10 minute break)
- Mathematical Reasoning (1 hour, 30 minutes)
- Science (1 hour, 30 minutes)
- Social Studies (1 hour, 30 minutes)
The GED® tests cost $40 per test section, with a discounted rate for re-takes. You must receive a 150 or higher on each of the four (4) sections of the test in order to receive your GED® credential. With these new tests you can now receive a GED® Score with Honors if you score above a 170 for each section.

The first day to begin this new test is January 2, 2014.
If you are 18 and over and would like to take the test, you can register on-line at www.GED.com or call 1-877-EXAM-GED (392-6433).
Here you will create an account, complete the registration, schedule and pay for testing. Once you have created your account & completed the registration you are welcome to WALK-IN for same day testing. If we have an open seat, we will fit you in!

Monday from 8:30am – 5:00pm
If you are 16 or 17 you must complete the requirements set by TCSG in order to be eligible to take the tests. Please click here for additional information regarding the Adult Education classes.

The GTC Official GED Testing Center™ cannot give out official GED® test scores. Official diplomas and transcripts are mailed directly to the examinee from the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG), Office of Adult Education, GED® Testing Program four (4) weeks after you have successfully completed all four parts. For additional copies of these documents please contact TCSG at 404-679-1645, or www.tcsg.edu. You may print a Transcript Request form directly from the TCSG website.
