Delta Epsilon Chi

Delta Epsilon Chi is a professional organization for Business Science students. Its mission is to provide opportunities for members to develop leadership skills and an understanding of their civic and social roles in our society. Through local, state and national activities, members are challenged to excel in their business careers.

Phi Beta Lambda (PBL)

This organization provides opportunities for students to develop technical competencies for business occupations. PBL supports the instructional programs and promotes civic and personal responsibility.

Skills USA-VICA

This national student organization serves trade, industrial, technical and health science students and emphasizes leadership, dignity of work, quality workmanship, citizenship, respect and concern for others. Its mission is to develop professional and leadership skills through active contest participation.

Voices of the World

Voices of the World is for all students enrolled at Gwinnett Tech. Its purpose is to promote cultural awareness and understanding through personal acquaintance and cooperative program presentations that provide activities encouraging cultural exchange. Voices of the World sponsors programs that encourage interaction among the many cultures represented by students, faculty, staff and the community.

 

Councils & Government


Student Leadership Council

This organization is composed of representatives from various instructional programs. Its mission is to provide a channel through which students may build leadership skills, voice concerns and/or suggestion, and enhance communication among students, faculty and staff. The Student Leadership Council meets monthly and plans activities that involve students in promoting the college and serving the community.

 

Departmental Clubs


Sport and Recreation Management Club

The Sport and Recreation Management Club was established to gather, receive and disseminate information that is helpful to members and to provide vocational advice and guidance to them. Members are given industry-specific information, as well as contact with industry professionals in the field.

Professional Organizations


National Technical Honor Society (N-TH)

N-THS promotes the ideals of honesty, service, leadership, career development and skilled workmanship among vocational-technical students in America. The organization encourages and assists students in their pursuit of educational and career goals. It also develops a greater awareness within the business, industrial and service communities about the talents and abilities of students engaged in technical education. Membership in NTHS is by faculty nomination, and induction ceremonies are held during fall and spring quarters.
