With awards ranging from several hundred dollars to $2,500, the Gwinnett Tech Foundation has opened its application process for approximately 30 scholarships to benefit students next semester. Funded by donors including foundations, businesses, individuals, civic groups and more, these scholarships are offered as a way to assist with tuition and fees. Applications will be accepted electronically from now until Sept. 30.
Applicants may access the general application for scholarships via the portal at www.gwinnetttech.edu/scholarships/. Once completed, the portal will filter through the scholarships available for those most in line with the student’s profile. Each scholarship has its own criteria, including qualifications such as minimum grade point average, program of study area, or references. Students should plan to apply for multiple scholarships.
All information and supporting documentation required should be submitted no later than Sept. 30 for consideration. Once a student’s application and documents are submitted, a committee will review the applications to select recipients.
