Our Story

Established in 1994, the Gwinnett Tech Foundation was created to support and enhance higher education at Gwinnett Tech. Within that broad mission, our actions, achievements and priorities are many – but all ultimately benefit our students and by extension, our community.

The Foundation works to secure student scholarships and additional ways to make the goal of a college education – and a rewarding career – possible. To enrich our faculty and staff, we develop and make funding possible for a host of professional development opportunities. On campus, the Foundation is the driving force behind the capital drives that made many of Gwinnett Tech's facilities possible -- including the George Busbee International Center for Workforce Development and the D. Scott Hudgens, Jr. Early Education Center.

Now, we turn our attention to building our Life Sciences Center and our Legacy of Lives campaign.

Our goal is to build a legacy of healthcare innovation that nurtures our community and our families alike. It all starts with education – that essential element that paves the way for quality, compassion and ultimately, healing. At Gwinnettt Tech, we're educating our future Life Sciences providers – those who'll be caring for this community for years to come. We're creating a Legacy of Lives that will indefinitely benefit those who live and work here.
